The function of the linear guide is to support and guide the moving parts to make reciprocating linear motion in a given direction. Depending on the nature of the resistance, linear motion guides can be divided into sliding resistance guides, rolling resistance guides, elastic resistance guides, and fluid resistance guides.
There are plastic parts on the end and side of the linear motion bearing block. Please do not hammer with hard rockets when equipment, and do not allow any objects to hit it when the equipment is overspeed during the trial operation behind the equipment. The linear guide is filled with lubricating oil before leaving the factory. If it is to be cleaned, dry it first, and then add lubricating oil until the linear guide runs without lubrication. If it is not necessary, do not remove the linear motion bearing block from the linear guide. If you do not need to unload, you must first align the auxiliary linear guide before removing the slider.
Prevent the random disassembly of the parts of the linear guide, which will affect the accuracy and sensitivity, and prevent the random installation of non-compliant balls on the linear guide.
1. Before installing the linear motion bearing block, the burrs, dirt and surface scars on the mechanical installation surface must be removed.
Note: The linear slides are coated with anti-rust oil before the formal installation. Please clean the reference surface with cleaning oil before installation. Usually, after the anti-rust oil is removed, the reference surface is easier to rust, so it is recommended to apply it Lubricating oil for spindle with lower viscosity.
2. Gently place the main rail on the bed, and use lateral fixing screws or other fixing fixtures to lightly fit the linear rail and the lateral installation surface.
Note: Before installation and use, make sure that the screw holes are consistent. If the machined holes of the base do not match and forcibly tighten the bolts, it will greatly affect the combination accuracy and quality of use.
3. Slightly tighten the positioning screws of the slide rail from the center to both sides in order to make the rail slightly fit the vertical installation surface. The sequence is to start from the central position and tighten to both ends to get a more stable accuracy. After the vertical reference surface is slightly tightened, the locking force of the lateral reference surface is strengthened, so that the main rail can surely fit the lateral reference surface.
4. Use a torque wrench to slowly tighten the set screws of the slide rail according to the tightening torque of various materials.
5. Use the same installation method to install the auxiliary rail, and install the linear motion bearing block to the main rail and the auxiliary rail individually.
Note that after the linear motion bearing block is installed on the linear slide, many subsequent accessories cannot be installed due to the limited installation space. The required accessories must be installed at this stage. (Accessories may be oil nipple, oil pipe joint, or dustproof system, etc.
6. Gently place the moving platform (table) on the linear motion bearing block of the main rail and the auxiliary rail.
