1. Grinding wheel selection

In addition to being particularly suitable for grinding miniature ball screws, atmospheric hole grinding wheels are widely used for grinding lead miniature ball screws, heat-sensitive materials (such as magnetic steel, tungsten-silver alloy), thin-walled parts and easily deformable workpieces. Soft metals (such as aluminum), carbides, green ceramic components, and metal materials that are difficult to machine with general grinding wheels. It is also suitable for processing rubber products (such as cyanide rubber rolls for textile industry, rubber rollers for printing, etc.), non-metallic soft materials such as plastic products, and hard minerals (such as marble).

The micro-porous pine tissue wheel is another type of atmospheric hole grinding wheel. Its pore size is smaller than that of the atmospheric hole grinding wheel, generally about 0.5 ram, but the grinding wheel has a uniform air hole than the atmospheric hole grinding wheel.
