1. Bearing housing classification

Thirdly, the integral bearing pedestal can be subdivided into SBD vertical bearing pedestal, TWN vertical bearing pedestal and T vertical bearing pedestal.
2. Material of plummer block housing
Usually the plummer block housing can choose the material is: gray cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, stainless steel, zinc alloy, plastic and so on.
3. Installation method of plummer block housing
First, press fit method. Use first press the bearing pressure equipment on the shaft, then install the shaft and bearing together into the bearing hole, when installation should pay attention to the bearing inner ring on the end face of a root mat made of soft metal casing assembly, and assembly of casing diameter than the diameter of the shaft neck slants big, and outside diameter should be smaller than the bearing inner ring guard. The outer ring of the bearing should be closely matched with the bore of the plummer block housing. If the fit between the inner ring and the shaft is loose, the bearing can be pressed into the bore of the plummer block housing first. At this time, it should be noted that the outer diameter of the assembly sleeve should be smaller than the bore diameter of the plummer block housing. If the bearing ring is closely matched with the shaft and seat hole, press the inner ring and outer ring into the shaft and plummer block housing hole at the same time.
Second, heating method. This is a kind of commonly used installation method which is more labor-saving. It is to use thermal expansion to change the tight fit into loose fit. Must first put the bearing type or separable bearing ring into the fuel tank for uniform heating, temperature range is 80-100 ℃, when heated to remove the fuel tank and install it as soon as possible to the shaft, in order to avoid the bearing after cooling, inner ring end face and shoulder joint is not close, can be axial tighten again.When the outer ring of the bearing is closely matched with the plummer block housing, the method of heating the plummer block housing can avoid abrasion of the mating surface. When heating the plummer block housing with the oil tank, the bearing shall not be directly put into the box. Instead, a grille shall be placed at a certain distance from the bottom of the box, or the bearing shall be directly hung with a hook. In addition, a thermometer shall be set in the oil tank to control the temperature of oil100 ℃, to prevent the tempering effect, which leads to the ring lower hardness.
Thirdly. Installation of taper bore bearing. If the tapered surface is provided with a fixing sleeve and a withdrawing sleeve, the tapered bore bearing may be mounted on the tapered journal. The tightness can be balanced by the reduction of the radial clearance of the bearing. The radial clearance of the bearing should be measured before installation. The clearance should be measured regularly during installation until the required clearance reduction is achieved. General use lock nut for installation, can also be used to heat installation.
