So what is the difference between the rubber bearing and the steel bearing? What are the advantages of each? What is the main use?

The function of the bearing end cover is to axially fix the bearing, and secondly, it plays the role of sealing and protection to prevent the bearing from entering the bearing and causing damage to the bearing.
The bearing end cover is fixed on the bearing seat or bearing chamber. If it is fixed on the shaft, the diameter of the seal will be enlarged and the seal will be difficult.

However, because it is made of iron, it is not waterproof, but the rubber cover has greater friction, so the heat dissipation performance is also worse than that of the iron cover. And in terms of speed, the rubber cover is also lower than the iron cover. The operating temperature of the bearing, the general operating temperature of the bearing rubber cover should not exceed 150 ℃.
