1. 1 When installing the bearing, be sure to apply equal pressure around the circle of the end face of the ring. In order to install the ring, it is strictly forbidden to use a hammer or other (metal) weight to directly hit the end face of the bearing to avoid damage to the bearing. One side of the ferrule (such as the outer ring) applies pressure, and the other side of the ferrule (such as the inner ring) is pressed in through the rolling element. This often causes indentation or scratches on the surface of the rolling element. It must not be used. Especially the non-separable bearing is installed on the shaft and the bearing box at the same time.

1, 2 When installing the bearing, the temperature range of the plastic material used in the plastic bearing must be considered. If the temperature is too high, the bearing will be damaged in the first time.

Second, the fit of self lubricating plastic bearing
1. Interference
Fix the inner ring and outer ring of the rolling element on the shaft or the bearing box. When it bears the load, the ring and the shaft or the bearing box matching surface will not have relative movement in the radial, axial and rotational directions. This kind of relative movement will cause friction, friction corrosion or friction cracks on the mating surface, and cause damage to the bearing, shaft and bearing housing, and then the friction powder will be mixed into the bearing, causing poor operation, abnormal heating or vibration, etc. 

Regarding the method of fixing the bearing, it is best to leave an interference on the mating surface of the ring and the shaft or the bearing box for static fit. This fit enables the load of the thin-walled ferrule to be evenly distributed on the circumference. Will not affect the load capacity of the bearing.

However, when static fit is used, in addition to the inconvenient installation and disassembly of the bearing, if the bearing adopts a separate bearing, it cannot be moved axially, so it cannot be used in all occasions.

2. The choice of cooperation

The selection of cooperation is generally carried out according to the following principles,
1.1. According to the direction and nature of the load acting on the self lubricating plastic bearing and which of the inner and outer rings rotates, the load borne by each ring can be divided into rotating load, static load, or non-directional load. The ring should adopt static fit (interference fit). For ferrules that bear static load, transition fit or dynamic fit (clearance fit) can be adopted. When the bearing load is large or is subjected to vibration or shock load, its interference must be increased. For hollow shafts, thin-walled bearing boxes or light alloy or plastic bearing boxes, the amount of interference must also be increased.

1.2. When high rotation accuracy is required, high-precision self lubricating plastic bearing must be used, and the dimensional accuracy of the shaft and bearing box must be improved to avoid excessive interference. If the interference is too large, the geometric accuracy of the bearing or the axle box can affect the bearing The geometry of the ring damages the rotation accuracy of the bearing. If the inner and outer rings of non-separable bearings (such as deep groove ball bearings) are statically fitted, it is extremely inconvenient to install and disassemble the bearing. It is best to use dynamic fit on one side of the outer ring.

3. Recommended cooperation
Regarding the shaft diameter and bore size tolerances of the shaft and the self lubricating plastic bearing housing where the self lubricating plastic bearing is installed, in the metric series, ISO283 (size tolerance and fit) has a corresponding standard. Therefore, the fit tolerance has been determined by the selected shaft diameter and bore size tolerance.
