Although the one-way flat single row ball thrust bearing cannot limit the radial movement of the shaft or enclosure, it can limit the axial movement of the shaft and enclosure in the same direction. Therefore, the combined use of such bearings and deep groove ball bearings is more effective.
The axis of the shaft and housing hole must be concentric when the technician is doing the installation, otherwise the stress concentration will cause premature bearing damage. If you want to guard against this bad phenomenon, you can leave a certain gap between the outer diameter of the ring and the outer hole, preferably in the radial gap of 0.5-1mm. The axial center line and the supporting surface of the shell should maintain a certain vertical tightness. Of course, tilting or deflection of the shaft during operation is not allowed, which will cause uneven load distribution and premature bearing damage. What can be done to eliminate the tilt of the bearing axis? The researchers suggest that elastic materials such as oil resistant rubber, leather, etc. can be applied to the supporting surface of the ring, or the single row ball thrust bearing with a spherical saddle can be used.
The one-way flat single row ball thrust bearing is a separate bearing, which can also be classified according to its structure: the one-way thrust ball and the two-way thrust ball bearing. The one-way flat single row ball thrust bearing can only bear a load in one direction and is also an axial load, while the two-way thrust ball bearing can bear an axial load in two directions. Neither of them can bear radial loads. And the thrust ball bearing still belongs to the structural form of the belt cushion, and because the mounting surface of its cushion is spherical, the seat bearing has certain centering performance, which can also reduce the influence of errors during installation. Unidirectional thrust ball bearings are mainly used in automobile, machine tools and other industries.
