01. Oil tank heating method
This is a widely used traditional heating method. A metal mesh is installed at a distance of 50-70mm from the bottom of the oil tank. The spherical roller bearings with tapered bore are placed on the mesh, and the large spherical roller bearings with tapered bore should be hung up with hooks. Spherical roller bearings with tapered bore should not be placed directly at the bottom of the groove, to prevent the part of the spherical roller bearing contacting the bottom of the groove from being overheated locally, or the dirt deposited at the bottom of the groove enters the spherical roller bearing. The main points of attention in the oil tank heating method are as follows. Non-corrosive mineral oil with good thermal stability should be used, preferably transformer oil, and the oil and container should be kept clean. The capacity of the oil tank should be determined by the size and oil volume of the heated spherical roller bearing. If the container is too small, during continuous operation, the oil temperature will drop quickly once the spherical roller bearing is put in, and the effect will not be good.
02. Induction heating method
Place the spherical roller bearings with tapered bore on a hot plate with a temperature of 100℃ for a few minutes. This method is the easiest. For example, turning the spherical roller bearings with tapered bore several times can make the spherical roller bearings with tapered bore evenly heated, and the efficiency is also high. Roller bearings can use this method. Put spherical roller bearings with tapered bore in a closed automatic temperature-controlled electric furnace for heating, uniform heating, accurate temperature control, fast heating, suitable for heating a lot of spherical roller bearings in batches.
At this time, the heating temperature needs to be controlled. Generally, the spherical roller bearing is heated to 80 °C, and the highest is 100 °C. enough. Exceeding 120°C will cause tempering of the spherical roller bearing, resulting in a reduction in the hardness and accuracy of the ring.
03. Light bulb heating method
Using a 50W light bulb to heat spherical roller bearings with tapered bore can ensure that the heating temperature is around 100°C. Smaller spherical roller bearings with tapered bore can be placed directly on the bulb, and larger spherical roller bearings can be placed on the cone of the bulb. Inside the shaped hood, the conical hood prevents heat loss from the bulb and makes the heating uniform. If using far-infrared light bulbs, pay attention to the direction of the light bulbs should be downward, so as not to harm people's eyes with infrared rays. The bulb heating method is suitable for occasions where the number of spherical roller bearings with tapered bore is small and does not need to be heated frequently. The bulbs can also be used for lighting at ordinary times, and no other equipment is required. This light bulb saves energy. The conical cover can be adjusted up and down, and it can adapt to heating spherical roller bearings of different sizes within a certain range.
Improper storage and installation can lead to premature failure of 80% of spherical roller bearings
After ensuring that the well-preserved spherical roller bearing is in good condition, the formal installation can begin.
